In February 2025, the cryptocurrency world witnessed one of the largest security breaches when Bybit lost $1.3 billion in ETH due to a sophisticated phishing attack. This incident underscored the critical importance of self-custody in the crypto space. In this talk, Saadya Chevan aka Nick from Trezor Expert will analyze the implications of the Bybit Hack for the average Ethereum user providing actionable insights for how we can all improve our self-custody practices and adapt the best possible mindset for controlling our digital assets.
