About Event

The Doerr School of Sustainability is committed to providing a respectful and inclusive workplace that promotes intellectual, collegial, and productive interactions during research, collaboration, teaching, and learning. Senior Associate Dean for DEI Paula Welander and DEI Office Director Lupe Carrillo will host our virtual Respectful Community workshops for new school members.

In these highly encouraged workshops, participants will be given an opportunity to learn more about the Doerr School Policy on Respectful and Inclusive Behavior and discuss the reporting resources available to our community. The primary audience for these sessions is anyone new to the Doerr School - this includes faculty, graduate students, postdocs, and staff who have been at Stanford for less than a year or who have never taken this training before.

Only one of the two offered workshop sessions needs to be attended; 30 person maximum per session. More sessions will be offered in the Winter and Spring quarter. Zoom registration link will be sent to you 1 hour before the session begins.
