About Event

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.” —Audre Lorde

As we close out 2021 and enter the winter season, the Indigenous Solidarity Committee invites you all to A Healing & Resilience Circle.

Friday, December 10

12- 1:30pm PT

The past two years have been exhausting, challenging, and non-stop.

There's a lot going on: The pandemic is unending. We've suffered countless personal & community losses. Racism & systemically sanctioned violence continues unchecked. Our way of life is in flux. The climate emergency feels irreversible (to name just a few).

The Healing & Resilience Circle is a facilitated experience that offers an intentional space and time to reflect, nurture your body, remember your heart, grieve your sorrows & losses, and attend to yourself.

Come exactly as you are.

There is space for all of you- your grief, your anger, your tiredness, your passion, your numbness, your anxiety, your love, & your care. <3

(While we encourage you to make space for the entire interactive event, the circle is open and you are welcome to join at any point during the session!)

Facilitated by Oceana Sawyer, a death doula & grief facilitator.
