​New Year, NEW ADVENTURES!

​Every epic adventure begins with good coffee. That's why we are meeting at the Depot in Downtown Mill Valley to kick off with our pals at Equator Coffee. When the Rally flag drops we run and hike!

​Option 1:

​Medium-ish run pace (9 min-ish pace) 8 miles 1,400 feet of vert - with a few quick rest regroup spots - Up the iconic Dipsea Steps and around Sun Trail to bask in the morning light before we drop deep down into the heart of Muir Woods. Then we roll along Redwood Creek trail all the way to Muir Beach .

​Option 2:

​Trot - mellow trot conversation pace with rest/regroup spots. 5-ish miles 750 feet of climbing up the Dipsea steps then down the Dipsea trail to Redwood Creek to Muir Beach.

​Option 3:

​Hike -3 mile hike mostly down hill. The shuttle vans will take you from the Depot in downtown Mill Valley to the Redwood Creek Trailhead where we will hike to Muir Beach.

​We will cold plunge (optional but encouraged) into the great Pacific Ocean to kick that Dopamine into overdrive - Run to the parking lot where you will change into your dry clothes and shoes - then walk over to the Pelican Inn for some aprés time in our favorite English pub. After hanging out with all your new friends we load up in the vans and head back to the Depot.

​Logistics

​This is a one way run and we will have shuttle vans to drive your warm dry change of clothes to Muir Beach and will transport you back to the Depot. So bring a bag with your clothes, dry shoes, and a towel to the Depot and and they will be waiting for you at the beach.
