Roadmapping Research Ops
The UX Researchers' Guild is pleased to host Kasey Canlas, a seasoned UX Research Operations leader, who will discuss Roadmapping Research Ops.
In this session, Kasey will show how to build a ResearchOps roadmap or plan, and how it helps focus and unify teams. A plan is built on pillars such as: participants, governance, insights, tools, money, metrics, research enablement, onboarding, and upskilling. She will share real-world insights from her experience including compliance with GDPR, handling PII, and what it means to conduct ethical research.
Kasey established the UX Research Operations team, serving more than 100 UX designers and researchers, at Genesys, a global leader in cloud-based customer experience (CX) and contact center solutions. While at McGraw Hill Education, Kasey was instrumental in forming the DesignOps task force, standardizing and operationalizing processes for a 50+ member cross-functional team, resulting in substantial time savings.
Kasey will share insights for building and scaling effective research operations within organizations.
