Lately, “Funding the Commons” has been a hot topic among web3 communities willing to do “something good”. Alike “the Global Commons” (our Life ecosystem), rules were set up to maintain the existence of the Commons and in the same time benefit from their usage. At a time where, in most of Western countries, Public Goods (Transport, Research, Health…) suffer from the requirement by Governments to function like private companies and seek to maximize profit, what are the solutions brought by the Web3 ecosystem?
