Our systems are breaking down. It’s time to reassemble. The ReAssembly is where solutionists meet to put the pieces back together. A convergence point of ideation, innovation and investment. This year's event will gather hundreds of leaders from finance, business, policy, non-profits, academia, and more. Niklas Adelberth is the co-founder of Klarna, one of Europe's fintech leaders and launched Norrsken, now the largest impact fund in Europe that has multiple funds, events and community houses in Europe & Africa. Insights from the lessons learned along the way will be shared to the various solution stakeholders present within innovation, business, government, philanthropy and community building.

Breakout Session: Biodiversity The Keystone of Life - The Road to COP16

Description:  As negotiators from 196 countries prepare to gather at COP16 in Cali, Colombia this October, the paramount challenge on the agenda is addressing the staggering $200 billion annual funding gap for biodiversity protection and restoration. Join us to understand the strategies and solutions being implemented to protect and restore biodiversity in alignment with the Kunming-Montreal Protocol. We will focus on the intersection of policy, finance and innovation in accelerating multi-stakeholder action toward the 30X30 agenda. Various proposals are being considered -  ranging from donations by wealthy nations to innovative financial mechanisms such as impact funds, bonds deploying private capital, and the establishment of a new international market for biodiversity credits—tradable instruments representing units of protected or restored nature, similar to carbon credits. In this session, we will discuss these solutions, exploring their potential and the collaborative efforts needed to achieve our shared goal of preserving our planet's biodiversity. We will also explore policy and market incentives, innovative AgTech solutions, and integration with existing indigenous and regenerative practices.
