Reframing Neurodiversity to Creativity
Cultivate your Inner Garden: Reframing Neurodiversity to Creativity Workshop
Join us for an enlightening 60-minute journey on Sunday, January 5th at 1 PM CST/11 AM PST with emerging artist, technologist, and entrepreneur RYN DEL PAPA as they delve into the profound connections between neurodiversity, biodiversity, and creativity. This workshop offers a unique blend of research, personal insights, and practical tools to enhance your emotional and mental well-being through creative health practices.
What to Expect:
Inspiring Presentation: A 40-minute exploration of emerging evidence on neurodiversity, creativity, and cognitive capacity.
Engaging Activity: The 'Garden of Self' - a 20-minute hands-on experience designed to foster self-discovery and creative expression. Inspired by the expressive therapy work of Dr.Kimberley Palmiotto.
Group Reflection: Close with a collaborative reflection session, sharing insights and experiences with fellow participants.
Why Attend?
Unlock your mind's potential, shift your perspectives on disability, and creatively connect with a community of like-minded individuals.
In all the New Year excitement, there are many, many invites, events, and goals happening. Which is why I'm thrilled you'll be joining the Cultivate your Inner Garden: Reframing Neurodiversity to Creativity Workshop on Sunday, January 5th at 1 PM CST/11 AM PST.
Why does this workshop include research?
Disability is still a barrier to arts-in-health access and our research is aiming to address that need. Before the event, there are two forms that'd make this research-driven workshop happen smoothly if you completed them beforehand.
Workshop Sign-Up Form: This is linked here and helps us understand who will be joining us on Sunday.
Informed Consent Form: This form is for attendees who want to contribute to the research portion of this workshop. This will include two surveys, completed during the workshop period. Please complete this form before January 5th if you consent to contribute to the research. You can still attend the workshop without including your information in the research, but this form lets us know 'yes' or 'no' and honors your participation preference.
