​Nora Neus is an Emmy-nominated producer, writer, and freelance journalist who is on a mission to uncover the stories that matter and engage readers without sacrificing ethics.

​She’s produced over 3,400 hours of live television at CNN, written over 500 scripts for Anderson Cooper, produced documentaries for PBS, and she’s covered some of the biggest stories of the past decade. 

​Join us for a conversation with Nora as we discuss what it takes to break into journalism, how to create compelling narratives through digital shorts, news, documentaries, and podcasts, and how she makes a living as a freelance writer.

​About Nora Neus 

​Nora Neus is an Emmy-nominated journalist whose reporting has appeared in CNN, VICE News, the Washington Post, and more. Neus field-produced Anderson Cooper’s coverage of the 2017 white nationalist riot in Charlottesville, Virginia for CNN. Before joining CNN, she worked as a local news reporter and fill-in anchor for the CNN affiliate in Charlottesville, WVIR NBC29. She is the coauthor of the YA graphic novel Muhammad Najem, War Reporter: How One Boy Put the Spotlight on Syria.
