About Event

Join us for an intimate dinner party and inspiring panel with four amazing women founders and leaders in tech. It's a rare opportunity to hear their personal stories and how they shape the future of tech through their careers and startup building experiences.

Our panelists include:

  • Vlada Bortnik - Co-founder and CEO of Marco Polo. Marco Polo is a Series-C startup building asynchronous video messaging app that helps people stay better connected with their loved ones

  • Mariane Bekker - Managing Partner of Founders Bay & Women Founders Bay. Before this, Mariane led engineering teams at leading startups like New Relic and Mindbody, through 5 acquisitions and 1 IPO.

  • Jaclyn Zhuang - Head of Product, Zoom. Jaclyn is a seasoned product leader and she actively mentors startups through programs like Xoogler.co and First Round Fast Track.

  • Nancy Zheng (moderator, Co-Founder of Hachi AI). Nancy is previously Engineering Director at Stripe and Google.

Our panelists all have unique journeys as founders and leaders.

  • Vlada has 16 years of startup-building experience and brought tremendous growth to her app during the pandemic as people sought meaningful ways to combat loneliness.

  • Mariane has had a remarkable journey from refugee to venture capitalist, and founded Women Founders Bay, one of the largest female founder communities, to help more women achieve great careers.

  • Jaclyn rose as a leader by working at major tech companies like Zoomm, and she also guided the next generation of entrepreneurs through extensive startup mentoring.

  • Nancy, a previously successful executive, underwent a soul-searching journey and decided to make a complete career pivot to become a startup founder herself.

At the same time, they all face similar challenges in balancing their careers with family responsibilities and societal expectations as women.

They will share their stories and how they overcame the challenges.

Meet your Host!

FounderCoHo is a community where founders support each other by sharing knowledge and building connections. Starting a company is a brave endeavor. Many of us have faced numerous challenges and learned valuable lessons along the way. The founder's journey can feel lonely, as it's difficult to discuss its nuances with those who haven't experienced it firsthand. FounderCoho aims to be that supportive community where founders can share their stories and get fueled for their company-building journey.
