About Event

You want to raise your children to appreciate the world around them, and have a sense of global citizenship? How can you do this?

The internet has proven that while we have our country based nationalities, more than anything else, we are citizens of the world…

If you want your children to thrive in the world, both now and in the future, it is important that they are able to open their minds to the wider world.

We all know that travel is the best way to really experience being a global citizen, but it isn’t the only way.

Lottie Dowling is the Manager of the Going Global department of Meg Languages. She supports educators to develop global citizenship in their students, and has extensive experience in the field of global citizenship education.

She will bring this expertise to inspirEd and will discuss the importance of fostering a sense of global citizenship in children. She will share practical tips to help you do this with your children, whether you are world schooling, traveling or living at home in one country.

Travel may broaden your horizons, but with the whole world at your fingertips, there are plenty of other ways you can raise global citizens!

By registering to this event, we will send you a reminder before the event happens and you will be the first to receive a link to the recorded event afterwards.
