Camp Midnight with Notion
Oftentimes, our lives get too noisy for us to dive deeply into exploring our hobbies. There's always too much noise with school, and work is always pilling up, and here is your opportunity to start fresh. Our ultimate goal is to carve out uninterrupted time for people like you and I. This time will allow us to unapologetically pursue our passions, dive deeply to satisfy our curiosity, and collaborate with others too.
With this retreat, we’re creating a safe environment where you can explore freely, untethered from distractions and everyday worries. Here are a few, but not all of the themes we'll explore:
Building tech solutions for your inner child
The bastardization of culture and art, and how it shapes culture
Personal, and Societal Ethicality and Morality
Religion and it's current place
How physical locations and city planning influence human behavior and culture
The retreat will take place over a weekend in the last week of March, 28th to 30th. We will invite students (and potentially new grads) from the University of Michigan to join us for a weekend of reflection, realizations, and personal growth.
This is a time for you to grow personally, and feast on things that heal your soul and mind. In order to do that, I want us to operate on these core tenants:
Coming with an open mind
Leaving with direction
A culture of sharing
Having fun, playing, exploring
Creating a non-judgemental and open space, so that sensitive topics (like religion) can be discussed
A desire to connect deeply with other folks
