Race Capital is proud to present How to Build and Scale Your Developer Communities for Startups with Priyanka Vergadia, the Developer Relations Lead at Google Cloud.

This event is for technical founders with developer communities around their products, open source contributors, and/or founders with product-led-sales GTM motions. Below are some of the topics we'll cover:

Priyanka Vergadia - Developer Relations Lead at Google Cloud

Priyanka Vergadia is an accomplished technologist with more than a decade of experience in cloud computing. She is a visual storyteller who has made a significant impact in the world of technology. As a Developer Relations Lead at Google Cloud, Priyanka has earned a reputation for creating engaging and visually stunning content for developers and technical practitioners alike. With her unparalleled ability to marry artistic skills with technical expertise, she has become one of the most sought-after visual storytellers in the industry. In addition to her creative contributions, Priyanka is also an accomplished author. Her recently published book, “Visualizing Google Cloud,” has become a #1 Best Seller, further cementing her status as a leading authority on visual storytelling in the tech industry.

Priyanka holds a Master of Science degree in Computer and Information Technology from University of Pennsylvania. Her expertise and educational background have allowed her to create content that is not only visually stunning but also technically sound. She is also a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania MCIT online programs sharing her cloud computing practical expertise with the students. 

She is a very well known Cloud Computing and technology evangelist, she has amassed an impressive following of over 100K followers across social media platforms.

Chris McCann - General Partner at Race Capital

Chris McCann is a general partner at Race Capital, entrepreneur, and community builder. Prior, Chris founded and led the community program at Greylock Partners, a San Francisco based venture capital firm with $3.5 billion under management which led investments in Facebook, LinkedIn, Figma, Dropbox, and Coinbase, among others.

Before he joined the firm, he was the co-founder and CEO of StartupDigest – one of the earliest technology focused email newsletters – which he grew from zero to over one million subscribers before being acquired by Techstars. He was an early advisor for the Thiel Fellowship & StartX at Stanford University. He also writes a newsletter covering the VC and technology sectors which reaches 25,000 entrepreneurs, engineers, and investors on a weekly basis.
