About Event

Wake up to Mugs & Moguls, a one-of-a-kind networking experience organized by Native and its President, Medal of Honor recipient Will Swenson. Join fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and community supporters for a morning of coffee, conversation, and carving turns—centered around the vibrant ecosystem of veteran-led innovation.

From 8:00 – 9:00 AM, fuel up on coffee and donuts while forging connections in a relaxed setting—courtesy of Evan Hafer, Founder & Executive Chairman of Black Rifle Coffee Company. Then, strap in for 9:00 – 11:30 AM of “Networking on the Runs,” where you’ll continue discussions and build strategic alliances while enjoying the slopes. You’ll also meet Jason Van Camp, Executive Director of Warrior Rising, whose passion for mentoring veteran entrepreneurs rounds out this dynamic morning.

Why Attend?

  • Meet the Organizers: Connect directly with Will Swenson and the Native team—leaders dedicated to empowering veterans in tech, startup, and investment communities.

  • Accelerate Your Network: Swap business cards on the chairlift with founders, VCs, and angel investors who appreciate the discipline and resilience veterans bring to the startup world.

  • Engage with Veteran-Led Ventures: Hear firsthand how military values—service, leadership, and innovation—fuel successful entrepreneurship and impactful community building.

  • Experience Networking with a Twist: Break free from stuffy meeting rooms for genuine conversations on the slopes.

Whether you’re a seasoned investor looking for mission-driven opportunities, a veteran founder eager to scale, or a tech enthusiast ready to learn from the best, Mugs & Moguls promises a morning of fresh ideas, meaningful conversations, and a memorable run down the mountain.
