Join us for a session dedicated to business models and value chains in cleantech, sustainability and circular economy sectors.
In the first part, Stephen Wilson, VP Partnerships at Foresight Canada, will present the main concepts.
In the second part, you’ll assist to a conversation with Kevin Danner, CEO at Carbon Lock Technologies for a discussion on how they uncover and deeply understood the value chains and business models that were relevant for their startup and why this is essential for a successful commercialization, scale-up, and exit.

Our panelists:
Stephen Wilson is VP Acceleration with Foresight, Canada’s cleantech ecosystem. In this role, he oversees Foresight’s flagship accelerator programs and manages a network of Executives in Residence and mentors.
Stephen’s experience spans sales, business development, and operations. After graduating from the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce, Stephen’s career has included working with startups in the lighting space to a global company in power conversion. He draws on his experience raising financing, launching products, and driving sales to support the growth of cleantech ventures in Foresight’s Acceleration programs. During his time as VP Acceleration, Foresight has expanded delivery of its programs across Canada.

Kevin Danner is the President and CEO of Carbon Lock Tech. He founded the company with one goal: to build an effective, impactful and scalable carbon dioxide removal company. His background in risk management and climate policy informs his understanding of climate change and the very real challenges ahead, while his passion for problem solving and innovation has helped him build a dedicated team of business and engineering experts to help move the venture forward.
