​We are excited to launch Data For India's “Office Hours”, curated learning sessions for members of our community. This inaugural session is specifically designed for the data journalism community.

​What are Office Hours?

​Office Hours are interactive virtual sessions hosted by the Data For India team to help you learn about the platform, its latest features, and how to maximise its utility for your work.

​This first session is designed for both new and seasoned journalists, editors, and media professionals who use data to enhance their reporting and storytelling. We look forward to engaging with individuals from a variety of industries in future sessions.

​What Will You Learn?

• ​How to navigate the Data For India platform to find work relevant to your reporting

• ​Different ways of utilising our research in your work — be it charts, data, or insight

• ​Guidelines on how to reuse and repurpose our work for your original reporting

​This session will include practical demonstrations to help you incorporate data-informed insights into your reporting workflow and a Q&A to answer any queries you might have.

​Note: Spaces for the event are limited to ensure meaningful interaction. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email once your participation is approved. Priority will be given to working journalists and media professionals who work with data in their reporting.
