Insight Session: How the NYT reports on AI, with Hanna Barakat

​It’s hard to shake the feeling that mainstream media coverage of AI uses tropes and stories that affect the thinking of basically everyone.

​Our work at the New Protagonist Network is to support a field of experts to shape better public discourse and policy on AI. To do that well, we will need to understand the media and narrative landscape as it is now.

​In this first of three Insight Sessions we are hosting in the coming months, research analyst Hanna Barakat will present her content analysis on how the New York Times reports on AI, followed by a conversation about what to do with the findings.
