Pause: A Reflective Sound Installation at Viva Frontier Tower

​Experience a unique multimodal installation and listening experience featuring a retrospective reflection on Candida Haynes' earlier looping vocals as (aka) voce while taking in ambient sounds, San Francisco’s cityscape, and experiences at Viva Frontier Tower pop-up.

​You are invited to take part in journaling your own reflections on the experience, transcribing conversations with the artist(s) and/or others in the space, or sharing your thoughts in the modality you choose.

There will be optional prompts available in the room or feel free to bring/respond to your own. Everyone who shares their thoughts digitally (instructions to be provided) will also have access to reflections from others who have participated throughout the day.

​This special guided experience will be available by appointment only in 30-minute increments at the following times:
