About Prose & Cons Reads
Prose & Cons Reads is a reading community hosted by Naya and Monida, two friends who wanted to share their love for books and intersecting interests like music, art, food, fashion and place. Naya and Monida are dedicated to highlighting books by diverse authors, with a focus on promoting BIPOC stories. What started as a small initiative has now grown into a thriving social book community on Instagram. Based on the traditional and unceded Algonquin territory (Ottawa, ON), Prose & Cons Reads also aims to bring together those in Ottawa who have a shared appreciation for social gatherings around books and reading.
