Mushroom Art Night

​Join us for a Mushroom Art Event designed to spark creativity, mushroom identification, and fun with fungi as the theme to enliven urban spaces.

​Whether you’re new to mushrooms or have some experience, this event invites you to bring your own supplies and ideas to create mushroom-inspired art-such as poetry, zines, drawings, and paintings-while exploring how mushrooms can thrive and transform small city environments.

​Together, we’ll break down barriers around mushrooms by sharing identification tips, discussing their role in urban gardens and daily life, and imagining ways fungi can brighten and sustain our urban surroundings.

​This hands-on event offers a welcoming space to connect, learn, and celebrate the unique potential of mushrooms to inspire creativity and community in the city.

​This event is free to attend, but we'll have both physical and virtual donation jars available if you'd like to make a pay-what-you-can contribution toward art supplies.
