Offline Hangout | World Picnic Day (donation-based)
Hey Offliner,
are you ready to dive into the world of "no phones"?
On the 18th of June, you are invited to celebrate the international Picnic day
together with friends and strangers- 90´s style.
A little fun challenge goes along : Is Berlin capable of creating the largest picnic blanket in the world?
We are definetely going to try, so if you feel thrilled to build...bring the biggest blanket you have :)
Phones will be locked away, and we’ll bring books, games, notebooks, pens, paper — whatever you think a good, slow community time needs. Whatever helps you unwind.
This is a donation-based event, and since it’s a picnic, let’s co-create the magic together:
🥖 Bring snacks,
🍉 fruits,
🥤 drinks,
🧺 blankets,
💧 water,
and most importantly — yourselves.
Let’s slow down, share, and spend intentional time together. This event blocks out screen-free time in your calendar, giving you space to relax, connect, and finally enjoy those hobbies you never get around to.
This is a donation based event so it's accessible to all. There will be a box for donations that will be used to grow The Offline community in a lovable and sustainable way. So make sure you bring some cash you want to contribute.
🗓 The Program
17:00 – 17:30 | Walk-in
17:30 – 18:30 | Connect with Yourself
18:30 – 19:45 | Connect with Others
19:45 – 20:00 | Central Round-up
Connect with Yourself
Sit back and recharge. Read a book, draw, journal, or enjoy any solo activity you love. This is your time — no interruptions, just calm music in the background.
Connect with Others
If you feel like it, this is your moment to socialize — with friends or strangers. Have conversations, share stories, discuss books, or play a game. Prefer to stay in your bubble? Totally okay.
We can’t wait to swap screen time for real time with you 💛
Disclaimer:
By trusting us with your beloved phone, you're showing serious faith in humanity! But just so you know — if it magically disappears, learns to fly, or mysteriously breaks, The Offline Club can’t be held responsible.
Not ready to let it go? No worries — just turn it off and tuck it away.
Refunds? Sorry, no take-backs.
I am so excited to meet you in person and see how the offline world will feel at Tempelhofer Feld,
see you soon,
Käthe
