Description
This week, you will get an immersed experience with marbling via making full-moon fans. What you will learn from the class:
A basic understanding lacquer materials, lacquer art history, and marbling techniques
Learn to mix and prepare marbling colors
Practice marbling techniques
Have fun transferring marbled patterns onto paper, fans, and other materials
We will provide all the tools and materials for class use. You may take all the artwork you’ve produced with you!
Every “Repairing the Sky” Craft Workshop is composed of lectures on the history of the featured craft, an overview of basic techniques and tools, and guided practicing sessions. You can click on this link to learn more about the full semester class. Classes are beginner-friendly. Themes are interconnected yet self-contained. Students may enroll into one class, one series, or multiple classes/series at a time.

We do serve non-perishable drinks as part of Accent membership’s benefit. You may enjoy them in designated areas. If you have specific dietary needs or medical conditions that require personal food or drinks, please notify the studio in advance so we can make appropriate accommodations.
