Metaphor You - find where you are
Okay, yes, the name of this workshop is cheesy, but hopefully that filters out people who aren’t lovers of a bit of cheese from time to time. This is a space to use metaphors to understand where you are and it will require not taking yourself too seriously.
If you have a sneaking feeling that you don’t fully know what you’re doing in life, how you’re feeling, or what to do next, this is a workshop for you.
Sometimes it’s hard to sit quietly with yourself, look inward and ask “How am I?” and get any semblance of a resonant answer. This workshop is an alternate, more collaborative route.
In this workshop, you’ll walk through simple questions that warm your imagination up to a vision of where you are now. Are you suspended in mid-air, kicking wildly off a cliff? Are you holding up a dam about to burst? Are you afraid of some scary door in front of you? We’ll use these metaphors and explore them with a creative group of collaborators to get clearer on where you are.
Important things to know about this workshop:
Warning: You may feel a notable shift in how you feel after this workshop.
It does require you to share something personal of yourself.
It requires imagination and not being ‘too cool for school’
You can take this workshop again and again - because we never stop experiencing life and moving through stages of processing it.
Workshop is led by Melissa Wong, a coach and human enthusiast who makes learning about oneself collaborative and even fun.
