Building for Change - the architecture of neighbourhood transformation
To spark inspiration and excitement around working with community-led regeneration projects, by showcasing what’s possible and creating space for connection and learning.
From Wigan to Plymouth, community innovators up and down the country are leading regeneration projects in their neighbourhoods - and architects in growing numbers are backing them.
This event spotlights these stories, bringing community leaders and built environment professionals together for candid conversations and explorations of the imaginative, emerging path of community asset development.
Contributors will reflect on the ins and outs, and ups and downs - from procurement to contracting, from financing to resourcing, asking: how can we build an architecture for community-led neighbourhood transformation?
Contributions from,
Betty Mayo, The Advocacy Academy
James Turner The Beeches Collective
Paulette Singer, Our Yard at Clitterhouse Farm
