​The bad news is that currently 8% of annual global CO2 emissions comes from the production of concrete. The good news is that a variety of innovations being developed worldwide in labs, start-ups, and established concrete companies have the potential to make concrete a large-scale, financially-viable pathway for carbon sequestration.
