About Event

Join clinical herbalist Renata Lynn and naturalist and nature educator Joe Murray for Winter Wild Edible, Medicinal and Useful Plants, the last class in the year long Way of the Wilderness series. This class will focus on winter plant identification, gathering, and preparation of roots and inner barks.

This is one of the most popular classes in the Way of the Wilderness series and it promises to be a fun filled day where you will have opportunities to actively participate in:

  • plant identification

  • gathering plants

  • preparing food from the days harvest, including rock boiled soup (actually cooked inside a pumpkin if we're lucky!)

  • making a health supportive tea from the days harvest

  • sampling our goodies, of course!

10:15 am - 2:45 pm $35
