Green Disruption: Scaling Sustainability Innovations for the Built Environment
Get ready to connect, share, and be inspired at "Green Disruption: Scaling Sustainability Innovations for the Built Environment" organised by Keppel in partnership with climateTech VC The Radical Fund, and supported by Enterprise Singapore. This exclusive, invite-only gathering brings together some of the brightest minds in tech and sustainability for an afternoon of ideas, conversations, and collaboration.
Urbanisation, a driver of economic growth, presents both challenges and opportunities for the built environment sector in Southeast Asia. Presently, half of the region's population resides in urban areas and by 2030, its urban population is projected to reach 373 million, driving the surge in demand for buildings. In this rapidly urbanising region—highly vulnerable to climate change disruptions and still largely off track for its net-zero ambitions—the environmental and infrastructural challenges for the sector are tremendous and immediate.
In this light, how can the built environment—widely profiled as the largest contributor of global CO₂ emissions—decarbonise itself, disrupt technologically, and develop resilience for greener cities?
