AwakenHub: A Celebration of Female Founders & Future Leaders
Join us for a landmark celebration of Female Founders & Future Leaders as we celebrate the achievements of the pioneering women of our first SheScales1.0 Growth Accelerator cohort and the trailblazing entrepreneurs of our fourth SheGenerate4.0 Start-Up Accelerator cohort at a dynamic in-person event in Belfast!

The afternoon will begin with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow founders, mentors, and supporters. This will be followed by a welcome address from Clare McGee, CEO of AwakenHub and AwakenAngels.
Next, we will spotlight some of our incredible SheGenerate participants, showcasing their innovation, dedication, and progress within our vibrant community. SheGenerate, delivered by AwakenHub and supported by AIB and the British Business Bank, is a unique accelerator programme designed to empower early-stage women founders on their entrepreneurial journey.
We’re delighted to welcome Karen Maguire as our guest speaker. Founder of Relinea and a champion of employee ownership, Karen brings nearly two decades of experience growing a successful business in a traditionally male-dominated sector. She’ll share reflections from her entrepreneurial journey—offering practical insights on scaling, leadership, and building a business with purpose.
The event will then transition into our SheScales Showcase & Graduation Ceremony, led by Denise McQuaid, and featuring our valued partners, Martin Spiller and Stephanie Hussels from Cranfield University. They will share their perspectives on ‘Scaling Female Entrepreneurs’ and present our SheScales graduates with their certificates, marking a significant milestone in their growth journey.
SheScales, designed by AwakenHub, is a transformative accelerator created to equip Irish women-led businesses with the tools, knowledge, and networks to scale successfully on a global stage. The programme is supported by InterTradeIreland, the Shared Island Fund, and powered by Cranfield University.
