About Event

Recent police killings and public responses to those killings highlight important lessons: Racism must be dismantled, and there can be no dismantling of racism without dismantling white supremacy. These issues must be tackled directly if public services organizations are to live up to their mandate to improve lives and serve everyone equitably and justly.

Join us and our panelists for an interactive conversation exploring:

1) The causes and effects of racism and white supremacy in public service organizations 2) Understanding racism and white supremacy at the personal, group, organizational, systemic, and societal levels 3) Why dismantling racism and white supremacy must be goals of public service 4) Ways to dismantle structural racism and white supremacy 5) And more!

PANELISTS: Dr. Prentiss Dantzler Georgia State University

Dr. Kathleen Yang-Clayton University of Illinois at Chicago
