About Event

​Welcome to Meta's first Llama hackathon in Toronto!!

We're bringing together 150 of Canada's best AI developers to build using Llama.

Hackers will receive hands-on support directly from Meta researchers & team.

Winning teams will get some sick hardware prizes, as well as additional support to kickstart their Llama 3 projects.

Participants will be encouraged to develop AI projects that are focused on
1. Economic growth and productivity
2. Education, language and culture 
3. Health care 
4. Government services and delivery.

This hackathon is a part of the global Llama 3.1 Impact Grants program, which aims to explore new ways Llama can address local challenges. Eligible participants in this and other regional hackathons will be enabled to apply for regional awards of up to $100,000 in addition to open call awards of up to $500,000.  

Prizes include XGO Mini 2 Quadruped Robot Dog, a Unitree Go2, Meta Ray Bans, and more. If you've ever wanted a robot dog, now's your chance!
