About Event

Friends, it's been a dream of ours to host authors and readers in our space, so no better way to launch the book club aspect of the BG Clubhouse than with longtime supporter/friend, therapist and author Sahaj Kaur Kohli.

On the heels of her debut release But What Will People Say?, we're hosting an intimate meet & greet with Sahaj on Monday, July 29th at 6PM in NoMad (address will be shared with registered guests).

But What Will People Say? is

A deeply personal, paradigm-shifting book from therapist, writer, and founder of @browngirltherapy, who rethinks traditional therapy and self-care models, creating a much-needed space for those left out of the narrative.

The evening and your ticket includes a copy of the book, a short Q&A with the author (hosted by BG's Trisha Sakhuja-Walia), and the opportunity to dive deeper on the constructs of mental health and how it impacts our wellbeing.

Small bites & beverages will be served.

Sahaj Kaur Kohli, MAEd, LGPC is the author of But What Will People Say? Navigating Mental Health, Identity, Love, and Family Between Cultures. She's also the founder of Brown Girl Therapy (@browngirltherapy), the first and largest mental health and wellness community organization for adult children of immigrants, a practicing therapist, international speaker, and a columnist for the Washington Post’s advice column Ask Sahaj.

Sahaj’s passion lies at the intersection of narrative storytelling and mental health advocacy, and her words and work have been featured in Today, Good Morning America, CNN, The New York Times, HuffPost, among others.
