About Event
Qingming Festival, or ancestor reverence day, is a Chinese Lunar calendar event every year where traditionally people visit graves and sweep tombs.
Qingming is also about nature. Join us for a hike through McLaren Park, traditional kite-flying, and a reflective ritual commemorating our ancestors. Miki will share some Qingming poetry.
We'll meet at the parking lot of June Jordan HS then hike into McLaren.
Please bring a picture of an ancestor you would like to remember, a water bottle, and comfortable shoes. Kids welcome.
