Perfect Your Project: Find Relevant Grants by Refining Your Fields of Work

​In this 45 minute workshop, you'll learn:

• ​Best practices to selecting Fields of Work

• ​How to narrow your search using more specific keywords

• ​How to reiterate on keywords over time based on quality of grant matches

• ​Personalized tips for refining your search criteria

​In the second half of the workshop, there will be a live keyword review where any attendee can volunteer to have one of their projects reviewed by Rebecca, our Instrumentl keyword expert.

​Volunteers will verbally share what their project is about in 2-3 sentences, then screenshare the existing keywords selected. Amelie will suggest which fields of work to add or remove in order to optimize grant results. We’ll make the changes together live in the platform, so that you can see the grant results of the new search criteria right away.

​Nonprofits and grant writers that do this usually report finding 20 new opportunities after just 1 keyword review!
