(1/29) Passion, Purpose, and Capitalism: A Salon
In a world where we’re all trying to balance what we love with the realities of making a living, the idea of passion and purpose within capitalism feels both personal and universal.
Do our careers reflect what we care about, or have we adjusted our dreams to fit the system? Can we find a way to align what lights us up with what pays the bills?
At this salon, we’ll explore thought-provoking (and perhaps uncomfortable) questions like:
How do we define success in a capitalist world without losing sight of what truly matters to us?
Is it possible to align our personal purpose with the demands of a market-driven economy?
Is it possible to stay connected to our passions while navigating a system built on profit?
What role does privilege play in finding and following purpose?
Join us for a lively, open dialogue about the delicate balance between passion, purpose, and capitalism.
Drinks and snacks provided! We’ll be in Chelsea.
Attendance Policy: Please RSVP only if you’re certain you can make it! If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, you won’t be able to attend the next two salons (*Exceptions made if you’re unwell. Please stay home and message me if that’s the case). Salons thrive on active participation, so thank you for honoring your commitment!
