Stephane is co-founder and CEO of Enwise. He is passionate about closing the carbon cycle for human activity. He has been designated entrepreneur of the year 2021 by Young Green Tech. Enwise has been short listed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in 2021 and listed in the top 25 APAC cleantech companies by Cleantech Group in 2020. Stephane has a PhD in Material Science from EPFL and a Master of engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris.

With IoT technology, its OTTO system provides 24/7 monitoring services with real-time KPI visualization, offering daily energy output, processing capacity, conversion rate, etc. This AI-driven platform operates and monitors all Enwise equipment remotely. Users have access to the energy conversion dashboard, while a remote Enwise team helps monitor over 1,000 control points to ensure maximum energy output efficiency. Dr. Yao Zhiyi is the Co-founder and CEO of CBE Eco-Solutions Pte. Ltd.,a deep-tech startup recycling industrial waste into high-value products. With a background in chemical engineering, Dr Yao brings more than 10 years of experience in the field of waste management and sustainability.
Under his leadership, CBE has scaled up its “first of its kind” process from lab-scale to 2 tons/day plant. His vision for CBE is to become a global leading company in circular carbon technologies, providing customized solutions to recycle all types of carbon waste into advanced materials and chemicals.
Carbon soot is the second-leading cause of climate change after carbon dioxide, contributing to about 16% of global warming. Carbon soot mainly comes from incomplete combustion or gasification of coal, wood, biofuels and fossil fuels. Current treatment for carbon soot is burning and landfill.
Established in 2020 by graduates from National University of Singapore, CBE Eco-Solutions Pte Ltd is a deep-tech company that provides a double-sustainable solution to treat the carbon soot: 1) we recycle it into high-value products instead of burning and landfill; 2) our end products, porous nanocarbon and vanadium pentoxide, exhibit excellent performance for energy storage applications.
