Greenpill Goonies Giveback - River Cleanup w/ The Greenway Foundation

​Volunteer with The Greenway Foundation to help keep Denver’s riparian parks clean! Volunteers will remove trash to support a healthier environment for plants, animals, and people. TGF will provide all necessary equipment, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own work gloves if preferred.

• ​Activity: Trash pickup at Commons Park along the South Platte River

• ​Participants: 10 volunteers

• ​Meeting Location: Outside Starbucks at REI

• ​Weather Considerations: If conditions are severe (e.g., heavy snow), an extended trash pickup may be challenging. Please keep this in mind as we get closer to the date

​What to Bring/Wear

• ​This program involves walking around public parks, so we recommend bringing only essential items.

• ​Closed-toe shoes (waterproof if you'd like to work near the river)

• ​Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, sun protection, etc.)

• ​Full water bottle

• ​Hand sanitizer

• ​Small backpack for personal items (we will not have a safe place to lock valuable items)
