TOP PITCH AND DECK DOS AND DON’TS WITH KATIE DUNN OF POWER TO PITCH

​Katie Dunn of Power To Pitch will provide a 1-hour workshop discussing the best practices and most common mistakes seen when pitching with a deck. We’ll review things like how to develop the emotional connection through your story, being direct and concise with language, educating your audience, and the use of stats and facts to establish credibility. She will also cover things like using fluffy language to turn off the listener, writing long paragraphs in a deck where a picture will do, and respecting the time allotted for your presentation. This will be an interactive experience with questions answered throughout the session.
