The Montclair Curry Club
A resurrection worth celebrating
After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce the return of an institution: The Montclair Curry Club.
This is not another networking event masquerading as a social gathering. This is not a place for business cards or elevator pitches. This is something infinitely more valuable—a sanctuary for those who understand that exceptional Indian cuisine deserves exceptional company.
What we will offer:
Carefully curated curries that respect both tradition and innovation
Conversation that flows as smoothly as our carefully selected libations
The company of fellow enthusiasts who know the difference between mere spice and genuine flavor
Now, a word about our guidelines:
You must genuinely love curry. Not tolerate it. Not appreciate it. Love it. The kind of love that makes you close your eyes on the first bite.
You must be genuinely interested in people. The gentleman to your left might be a Fortune 500 CEO. The lady across from you might have just returned from scaling Everest. You’ll never know unless you ask.
You must check your soapbox at the door. Politics and religion stay outside – unless we discover we’re all rowing in the same direction. This isn’t censorship; it’s courtesy.
Everything is arranged. No decisions to agonize over. No menus to study. Just arrive, feast, converse, and settle your account like a civilized human being.
The investment is $45 per person, gratuity at your discretion (good service deserves recognition) for a prix fixe menu - bring your favorite libation because the Brick Lane is a BYOB establishment.
You can pay by cash, credit card, or Venmo
The resurrection begins Tuesday, July 8th at 6:45 PM at Brick Lane Montclair, where the kitchen understands that great Indian food is both art and science.
We will limit this to 16 people, so RSVP early.
If you must ask whether this gathering is "for you," it probably isn't. If you already know it is, we'll see you there.
