Comet Robotics x RoboSub Banquet
It's time to celebrate.
Join Comet Robotics and RoboSub for a joint reception commemorating a year of success for both organizations.
Free food will be provided by My Canh Chinese Restaurant. RSVP is required for food.
Dress code is semi-formal.
"Semi-formal is more dressed up than you’d wear to work in an office and less fancy than going to a gala."
We're not requiring suits or jackets (but feel free to wear them if you want!). If you don't have any formal wear, do the best with what you've got - we'd still love to have you :)
Schedule
6:00PM: Doors open, food served

8:30PM: Awards presented to students, members and projects
About RoboSub
RoboSub UTD is a 501(c)(3) competitive student organization dedicated to designing, building, and programming remote operated vehicles (ROVs) and autonomous surface vehicles (ASV's). Our team participates in the annual MATE ROV and RoboBoat competitions, where we showcase our innovative solutions in submarine robotics and autonomous systems.
Founded by passionate engineering students, our team brings together diverse talents from computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and other disciplines. We work collaboratively to tackle complex challenges in underwater robotics, from advanced computer vision systems to sophisticated mechanical designs.
Through hands-on experience and mentorship, our members gain valuable skills in robotics, software development, and systems integration. We're not just building submarines – we're developing the next generation of engineers and problem-solvers.
About Comet Robotics
Comet Robotics at UT Dallas is a student organization with the goal of promoting robotics at UT Dallas and in the surrounding area through outreach, projects and workshops. We compete with colleges and universities across the globe in combat robotics competitions, and programs like VEX U and University Rover Challenge.
With membership open to all students regardless of major or prior experience in robotics, we provide students with the opportunity to collaborate and compete with like-minded individuals to gain experience and refine their knowledge of designing, building, and programming robots. As an organization, we aim to build and sustain an engaged body of students hoping to expand upon their coursework and gain real-world experience, developing skills in project management, leadership, teamwork, and much more.
