Accelerate Edtech Impact - Project Showcase (By Application)
Building on the success of its first edition in 2023, the 2024 Stanford Accelerate Edtech Impact summit will gather 400+ edtech leaders, researchers, funders, educators and students on Stanford campus to collaboratively shape a future of learning that is not only effective but also equitable and responsive to the needs of all learners.
The Education Entrepreneurship Hub is organizing a Project Showcase as a part of the Accelerate Edtech Impact Summit for Stanford students and recent alumni to share their education innovation ventures for feedback from industry leaders.
Showcase Details
Date: Monday, November 18, 2024
Time: 9 am to 12 pm
Presenters: Students and recent alumni (less than 5 years since graduation) building education innovation projects and ventures are invited to share a business pitch and product demo.
Judges: Education technology industry leaders, investors, founders, and administrators.
Application Details
Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for education innovation projects and startups, which are:
Providing a learning science-backed technology product or service
Co-founded by current Stanford students or Stanford alumni who have graduated between 2020 and 2024
Addressing an important or unmet need that is relevant to the education ecosystem
Looking to actively integrate feedback from education innovation leaders
There will be two presentation tracks:
Projects: Student projects that leverage learning science to address learners’ needs that have not received any institutional funding.
Startups: Student or recent alumni startups providing learning science-backed technology or service that have received institutional funding but have yet to raise a Series A.
Application
The application will be launched on Monday, September 23, 2024 and open until Friday, October 4, 2024.
The application will ask you to share information about the project/startup, the presenter, and a 2-minute applicant video.
