​Investors Day @ Bucharest Tech Week

​Join us for the Investors' Day forum, powered by Techcelerator, as part of Bucharest Tech Week 2025. This high-level event brings together institutional leaders, innovators, investors, and policymakers to explore the Future of Defence & Resilience in South East Europe.

​The first panel, “Future of Defence & Resilience in Eastern Europe,” will bring forward insights from both national and international institutions. Among the speakers are Horia-Răzvan Botiș, representing NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator (DIANA), Dr Rune Linding, Challenge Manager NATO DIANA, Valentin Ene from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cătălina Dodu, Partner at EY Romania, and Octavian Roșu, Associate at Kearney Prof(ret.) who will address how strategic alignment, public-private partnerships, and multilateral cooperation can enhance defense readiness and infrastructure resilience in the region.

​The second panel, “Investing in Defense Innovation: AI, Cybersecurity, and the Next Frontier of Security Tech,” will focus on the role of venture capital and blended finance in enabling the scale-up of deeptech and dual-use startups. Distinguished investors such as Giuseppe Lacerenza (Keen Venture Partners), Oleksandr Bulatnikov (Presto Ventures), Kristina Boseva (Impetus Capital), and Federico Menna (EIT Digital) will discuss what they look for in early-stage defense technology teams and how European programs like DIANA and EIF contribute to risk reduction.

​The final panel, “Resilience through Innovation: SEE’s Role in Advancing NATO’s AI and Cyber & Defense Strategy,” will spotlight a new generation of startups that are shaping the future of secure innovation. With contributions from entrepreneurs such as Cornel Amariei (dotLumen), Vlad Cazan (KFactory), George Bara (Zetta Critical), Cristian Ruță (Arcanna AI) and Konstantin Rangelov (Dronamics), this session will explore how local innovation hubs can be integrated into the broader NATO ecosystem and what challenges founders face when operating in high-stakes, regulated domains.
