What is it?

Join us in a Women in Coding panel event hosted by Inspirit! Listen to 3 accomplished young women share their experiences, passions, and advice for people looking to pursue a career in software engineering! Feel free to share any questions you may have for our panellists during the session in the registration form! :)

About our panellists:

Neha Vinjapuri

Neha is currently a rising freshman at Stanford, majoring in either CS or Symbolic Systems. She loves anything that combines her passions of art, technology, and storytelling, and hopes to pursue a career in game development, virtual reality development, or animation. She has worked with Google to create her mobile game, YuMe, and has led her school to become National Winners of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition. Apart from tech, she spends her time dancing, playing tennis, and attempting to befriend the squirrels in her backyard.

Jessica Wang

After graduating college, I started as a software engineer at Microsoft and have been working on the OneNote team for almost 3 years now. In that time, I've talked to a lot of people who love the tech field, who hated it and quit to pursue other passions, people who founded their own tech startups, people who explored different technologies or manager roles, and more. I like to document a lot of my thoughts on the tech industry and career paths on TikTok in my spare time. Otherwise, you'll usually find me binging TV or enjoying the outdoors hiking or playing sports!

Michelle Vinocour

Michelle Vinocour is a freshman at Stanford studying Symbolic Systems and minoring in Data Science and Education Technology. Originally from Costa Rica, she is very passionate about accessibility to computational education and providing opportunities in developing countries. For the past three years, she has run SuperArte, a nonprofit organization that brings art to underprivileged communities. She is also very interested in the intersection between fashion and technology and using data science to study trends in the industry.

What is Inspirit?

At Inspirit, we are building the next generation of teaching tools for instructors: immersive labs and 3D simulations that replace and 'gamify' the whiteboard. Our tools are incredibly easy to customize, integrate assessments, and share across the web, mobile, and XR platforms. Built by a team of Stanford University Education and VR researchers, our content is designed to improve test-taking, knowledge gain, engagement, and critical thinking in learners.

Our mission

To build immersive learning experiences for all learners around the globe

Our vision

To enhance human potential through immersive learning

Our values

  • Be humble

  • Love the work you do and the tools you create

  • Take responsibility for your actions and intent
