Most international students wait until they land in the US to “figure things out.” By then, they’ve already lost valuable time. In this session, we’ll break down how you can start positioning yourself before day one.
About Hammad:
Hammad has an extensive background in fixed income trading and deal advisory. He spent most of his career as a front office trader within the Asset & Liability Management team at HBL’s Treasury & Global Markets group. He has since then worked as the Global Strategy Lead at Khaadi, serving as a special advisor to the CEO, management team and the companies Board. Currently Hammad is pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and will be pursuing his summer internship in investment banking.
Hammad holds a BS in Account and Finance from IBA, is a CFA Charterholder and an ACCA Member.

About the host: Tabarak Rehman works as a Vice President in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice at AlixPartners. In December 2024, he ran 1,000 miles across Pakistan—completing an ultra-marathon every day for 35 days—to help raise over $750,000 for The Citizens Foundation. The effort is helping bring 5,000+ out-of-school children back into classrooms. He holds the CFA charter and a Masters degree from Northeastern University.
