Talk #1 - STATSCRAFT
Designing for data: Lessons learned from building our MCP Server
Building an MCP server forced us to confront some hard truths about modern observability architecture: the data is complex, the volume is massive, and the old ways of exposing it just don’t cut it anymore. In this talk, I’ll share what building MCP taught me about handling rich, high-throughput observability data, and how it pushed us to rethink traditional API designs, embrace agent-friendly data models, and adopt new patterns for exposing and handling data.
We'll explore real-world examples that show how these changes improved performance, enhanced scalability, and simplified usability. You'll walk away with practical lessons on how to design smarter systems that turn observability into real, actionable insight.
SPEAKER:
Yosi Zelensky, Software Engineer, groundcover
Yosi is a software engineer with over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and R&D. As a senior developer at groundcover, he focuses on building high-performance observability infrastructure. When he’s not deep in code, Yosi enjoys music, padel, and traveling.
Talk #2 - Cloud Native + Serverless + DevOps - ALL IN ONE COMBO!
Supercharge GitHub Actions with AWS CodeBuild managed runners
Scaling GitHub Actions runners often leads to delays, manual interventions, and frustrated development teams. In this session, Adi Ziv, a seasoned platform engineer, shares how integrating AWS CodeBuild managed runners helped streamline CI/CD at scale during a Kubernetes migration. Through a real-world example of migrating to Amazon EKS, Ziv will demonstrate how serverless builds can reduce operational overhead, improve build speed, and strengthen security using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) configurations. Attendees will gain practical insights into improving release velocity while optimizing costs—ultimately empowering their teams and making CI/CD pipelines more efficient and resilient.
SPEAKER:
Adi Ziv, Senior DevOps Engineer, Kaltura
Adi Ziv is a Senior DevOps Engineer at Kaltura, specialising in cloud-native architectures, containers, and pipelines. With over seven years of experience, he has led initiatives focused on automation, cost optimisation, and infrastructure resilience. Ziv believes that intelligent automation and dynamic resource management are essential for reducing operational overhead.
⚡️ TWO FANTASTIC LIGHTNING TALKS ⚡️
⚡️ Unlocking Specialized Hardware in Kubernetes with DRA
Kubernetes is no longer just for CPUs—modern workloads need GPUs, FPGAs, and more. Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA) is a game-changing feature that brings flexible, pluggable resource management to the cluster.
In this lightning talk, we’ll explore what DRA enables, why it matters for today’s workloads, and what’s coming next. If you're pushing the limits of Kubernetes, this is a feature you’ll want on your radar.
Speaker:
Arthur Berezin, VP Product Management, PerfectScale by DoiT
Arthur Berezin is VP Product Management at PerfectScale by DoiT, where he leads initiatives to optimize Kubernetes infrastructure for performance and cost — including work on GPU scheduling and automation. With a background in DevOps, cloud platforms, and startup leadership, Arthur brings a pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex platform challenges at scale.
⚡️ Building SDKs: Speaking Dev in Their Native Tongue
DevOps tools often speak infrastructure - developers speak code. This talk shows how building SDKs in developers' native languages can transform your CI/CD platform into a seamless part of their workflow. Learn how SDKs reduce friction, boost adoption, and help platform teams communicate with devs on their own terms.
Speaker:
Shahar Shporer, DevOps Architect, Sheba Medical Center
Shahar Shporer is a DevOps architect with over 15 years of experience in building scalable infrastructure, empowering engineering teams, and designing secure, automated CI/CD workflows across multi-cloud environments. She specializes in translating complex engineering challenges into elegant DevOps solutions that support developer productivity and organizational growth.
Outside the world of pipelines and infrastructure, Shahar is also a certified paramedical tattoo artist, creating 3D areola reconstruction tattoos and helping breast cancer survivors reclaim their bodies with dignity and art.
