​AI is increasingly offered as a transformative tool for innovation. Investment in these technologies, alongside the UK's sector-based, pro-innovation approach to AI, means that uptake is rapid. However, claims like this require scrutiny. In 2022, the Creative Industries in the UK contributed £126 billion to the UK economy, yet many in the sector feel that they are under threat, with creative workers concerned about automation, exploitation of IP, and the loss of skills.
