What You'll Do as a Volunteer:
As a volunteer, your responsibilities will span across various areas to support the hackathon operations. Your duties may include:
Pre-Hackathon Day (1 day before the event):
Assisting with venue setup and logistics (registration counters, banners, participant kits, etc.)
Preparing swags, certificates, ID cards, and welcome kits
Attending volunteer briefing and dry run sessions to understand your assigned roles
During the Hackathon (36 hours):
Managing registration, information, and help desks
Assisting mentors, judges, speakers, and participants throughout the event
Coordinating workshops, speaker sessions, and other sub-events
Monitoring various zones (work areas, rest areas, dining zones) for smooth functioning
Ensuring cleanliness, discipline, and timely support where needed
Important Rules & Code of Conduct:
⚠️ STRICT ADHERENCE TO THE CODE OF CONDUCT (COC) IS MANDATORY.
All volunteers are required to remain at the venue throughout the 36-hour hackathon, and also be present one day before for preparations.
You must strictly follow the attached Code of Conduct, which outlines expected behavior and ethics throughout the event.
Any form of inappropriate behavior, misconduct, or violation of the COC will result in immediate removal from your volunteer role and further strict action will be taken by the organizing committee.
Respect and professionalism are expected at all times, towards participants, mentors, co-volunteers, and organizers.
