Come join us for an evening of empanada making with Sylvia Crespo, Puerto Rican empanada maker extraordinaire. This workshop will feature a demo that showcases how to make your filling, followed by a hands-on lesson where we learn as a group how to "construct" our empanadas. Cooking will be followed by a communal dinner. This evening's class will be taught in ASL, with voice interpretation provided. The menu will consist of classic chicken empanadas, plantains and a side salad. All materials will be provided.
