We want to make spaces for women, by women with the objective of ongoing professional development. So we did. And we're coming to you with event #2 with the support of our incredible partners, Folklore Ventures!
After our incredible launch on August 1, we are committing to monthly professional networking events to reach 1,000 women in finance before the end of 2025. The topic for our launch was Careers in Finance, we're now pivoting to Mentorship vs Sponsorship: how a rising tide lifts all ships.
Our inclusive mandate means that we are open to early-stage professionals through to senior leaders. In fact, we encourage participation from both ends of the spectrum to ensure robust information exchange, mentorship and systemic change.
The vision for Women in Finance is to ensure that our community are empowered to achieve all their career ambitions with minimal barriers and maximum support.
