​Get Creative with us on Dec 15! ✨

​Everyone's a creative kid at heart and that's who Recess is for. Join us for an afternoon of creativity, inspiration and joy with other like-minded adults - whether you're an artist or not! We want to empower adults who are BIPOC to create and play.

​What to Expect

​🚀 Lots of creativity: We'll have prompts that you can use to help you create in any medium; then we share with the group in a chill, judgement-free zone. No experience needed!

​🎸 Art Materials: We’ve got art supplies and instruments on hand, but if you’ve got favorites (i.e. notebooks), bring them along. The more, the merrier!

​🌮 Food: Lunch will be provided. Meat will be Halal + any other dietary restrictions requested.

​🍉 Welcoming Space: Where all people, especially those from BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ communities, feel respected and empowered to participate fully.

​❎ Cancellations: Tickets can’t be refunded but if something comes up and you’re unable to make it, you’re welcome to have a friend attend in your place.

​📸 Media Consent: For marketing purposes, we take photos and videos at our events so if you attend, you may be captured on camera. By attending, you confirm that you’re okay with this.
