​​The Tech Bros is a social enterprise run by Milette and Sedinam with the aim of funding female-founded tech companies. We target exclusively women in highly technical fields, with a focus on postgrads and PhDs, and help them go from 0 to 1 through our hands-on events. We're launching our accelerator program in the summer of 2025, with a particular focus on AI / ML, robotics, aerospace, and quantum startups. ​The Women in Engineering Society at York is open to anyone interested in technology, and supporting a diverse group of young engineers!  They aim to create a community where everyone can feel supported in their studies and feel equipped for their future career - their activities are an opportunity to tackle the issues that most often make women leave the field such as a lack of work life balance, careers guidance, recognition or valuable work.
